Instant quick way of making tasty punkulu. These are fond item of very many people.
Rice flour 1 cup
Urad dal flour or
Menapa pindi 1 cup
Cracked wheat 1 cup
Onion 1 big
Green chillies 3
Baking soda 2 pinches (optional)
Oil for deep frying
Salt as needed
1. In a bowl add rice flour, urad dal flour and cracked wheat and mix well.
2. Cut onions and green chilli into small pieces. And mix to bowl mix well. Add little water and make it into thick paste if it has become thin add little rice flour. Add baking soda and salt and mix well.
4. After the punukulu are uniformly frried on all sides and turn golden brown color remove them. Serve with allam or ginger pickle or chutney.
