Ingredients:
Raw Bananas or Aartikaya 2
Cauliflower 1/2 medium sized
Onion 1 (optional)
Urad dal 1 teaspoon
Chana dal 1 teaspoon
Jeera 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Red Chillies 2
Tumeric powder 2 pinches
Hing 2 pinches
Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
(adjust accordingly)
Oil 3 teaspoons or 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves 1 bunch
Salt as needed
Prepartion:
1. Cut Raw banana or artikaya into small pieces. Put them in water or else they will change color. Cut cauliflower into cauliflower florets.
2. Heat a pan add water and put the banana pieces and cauliflower florets. Add tumeric powder. After they are cooked drain the water.
3. Heat a pan and add oil after oil is heated add chana dal, urad dal, jeera ,mustard seeds, hing , red chilli powder and curry leaves.After the mustard seeds start to spultter and the dals slightly change the color add the cooked raw banana or aartikaya and cauliflower pieces to it and mix well. (Add onion to the tadka and after the onions turns transperent add the raw banana or aartikaya and cauliflower pieces)
4. Add salt after they fully cooked add red chilli powder,mix well and switch off the stove.
