Ingredients:
Idies 5
Urad dal 1 teaspoon
Chana dal 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Jerra 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves 8 to 10 or 1 bunch
Red chillies 2
Ginger 1 inch piece
Green chilli 3
(adjust accordingly)
Tumeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Hing or ingava 1 pinch
Onion 1 (optional)
Oil 4 teaspoons
Salt as needed

Preparation:
1. Smash the idlies into powder. Cut ginger and green chillies into small pieces.( Cut onion into small pieces)
2. Heat a pan and add oil to it add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds,jeera, red chilli broken into three pieces, curry leaves,hing ,green chilli pieces and ginger pieces to it. After the dals turn into golden color (add onion to it after onion becomes tranlucent) add the broken idly to it.
3. Mix well and add tumeric powder and salt. Cook in medium flame for about 5 minutes.
