Wheat Flour Halwa or Sheera

This is a very easy and tasty recipe .It can be made very fastly. One of my friend gave this sweet she told that she thought that their new year was tommorow she got a call that it was today. Immediately with in 15 min ishe made this sweet .This is usually served in Punjab as we serve pasayam in south.

Wheat flour 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Ghee 1 cup
Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
Cashew nuts 2 teaspoons
Raisins 2 teaspoons
Water 2 and half cups

1. Fry raisins and cashew in teaspoon ghee till the cashew turns into golden color.
2. Heat a pan for about 2 minutes on medium low flame.Add ghee after the ghee has melted add the wheat flour and turn to low flame .
3. Fry the wheat flour until you the pleasent smell out of it .Ensure that the flame is low and stir contionously for about 7 to 10 min.
4. After the pleasent comes and the color changes add water to it slowly.Make sure that no lumpsare formed.Now add Sugar to it and stir continously for about 7 to 10 min.
5. When the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan and becomes thick. Add cardamom powder. Mix well and switch off the stove.
6. Garnish with cashew and raisins.
