If you have a sudden party, don't have time to go out. Mix equal quantities of ripe banana, orange juice and honey. Massage your face for five minutes and apply the pack to face and neck wash after it is dry.

Cucumber Juice 2 teaspoons

Grate the cocunut and squeeze the milk out of it. Cut small piece of cucumber and make juice of it . Mix coconut milk and cucumber juice and apply on face and neck. After 15 to 20 minutes wash your face and neck .

Mash a ripe papaya and apply it to the skin regularly and wash after 20 minutes. The skin becomes bright and this also helps in reducing pimples.






Pudina Andhra Pachadi or Mint Andhra Chutney



Ingredients:
Pudina leaves or Mint leaves 1 bunch
Chana dal or Senaga papu 2 teaspoons
Urad dal or Menapa papu 2 teaspoons
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Jeera or Cumin 1/2 teaspoon
Red chillies 2
Tumeric powder 1 pinch
Tamarind 2 inch
Ginger 1/2 inch piece
Green chili  1 (Adjust accordingly)
Hing or inguva 2 pinches
Oil 4 teaspoons
Salt as needed

Preparation:
1. Wash the pudina leaves. Heat a pan and add two teaspoons of oil after oilis heated add the pudina leaves and turn to medium flame. After two to three minutes which the leaves become little soft switch off the stove.




2. Remove the leaves from the pan and in the same pan add the remaining two teaspoons of oil, after oil is heated add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, jeera, hing or inguava and red chillies. When the dals change
color switch off the stove.



3. After the tadka cools. In a mixie and  bowl or blender add the pudina leaves, tadka, tamarind, green chillies, ginger , tumeric, salt, little water and blend it into a coarse mixture.




If  you want to eat with dosas add little more water and make into soft mixture.

I made this recipe for a potlock. Usually I make this recipe in microwave. This time as the quantity was large so I used stove . This is easy to make and tasty too. When I used microwave I used 1 butter stick over the stove the quantity of butter was reduced.



Ingredients:
Ricotta Cheese 3 cups (I brought from walmart)
Milk Powder 5 cups ( I used non fat milk powder from Walmart)
Sugar 2 and ½ cups
( adjust accordingly)
Ghee 2 teaspoons
Almonds for decoration


Preparation:
1. Heat a pan and turn to medium low flame ,add 3 cups of ricotta cheese and after it starts to melt . Stir it continuously.










2. Add milk powder and mix well . Add little butter and sugar and mix well.





 3. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens.



4. Grease a plate . After it cools spread it on the plate and roll it with chapathi wooden rooler . Cut it into pieces and garnish with almonds.


Remove strains of knife

To remove the strains on kitchen knife  scrub the knife with cut onion half  for  about 3 minutes.

Throat pain relief

Garggle with salt water and chew 2 cloves for relief in throat pain .

To keep the color of cabbage and cauliflower

Add one or two teaspoon of milk to cabbage and cauliflower. Their color wont be changed while cooking.

Crispy Chips tip

To make chips wash the potatoes cut the potatoes into pieces with peel  into thin slices and soak them in theice water for  aboout 1 hour. Drain the water  and gently  pat them to dry using a soft cloth or tissue. Now deep fry them and they will be crispy.



Magaya Perugu Pachadi

Magaya is the famous Andhra pickle after avakaya . Magaya pickle mango pieces are dried in sun for 3 days and then the pickle is made . In north they call the dried mango pieces as amchur pieces . The recipe to make magaya with amchur pieces is in the blog. Magaya perugu pachadi is a famous andhra recipe and is very tasty and eaten with chapathis ,rice ,dosas and others.



Ingredients:
Magaya Pickle  1 table spoon
Curd                  1 tablespoon
Ghee                 1½ teaspoon
Urad dal            ½ teaspoon
Mustard seeds  ½ teaspoon
Red chillies 2 break them into 3 pieces

Preparation:
1. Mix the magaya pickle and curd . In a mixie or blender blend them together for a minute.




2. Heat a pan and  add ghee after ghee is melted add urad dal, mustard seeds and red chilli . When mustard seeds pop up switch off the stove.



3. Add the tadka to the pickle and mix well.



Potato Tomato Cinnamon Sandwiches

Ingredients:
Bread slices 10
Potatoes 1 big sized
Tomatoes 4 medium sized
Cinnamon 2 inch piece
Nutmeg powder or jajikaya
or japhal powder ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder ½ teaspoon
Pepper powder (optional) ½ teaspoon
Butter ½ teaspoon (optional)
Oil 2 teaspoons
Salt as needed


Preparation:
1. Wash the vegetables and peel potato skin. Cut potatoes and tomatoes  into small pieces. Heat a skillet or pan and add oil after oil is heated add the tomato pieces and after they turn soft add the potato pieces to it.


2. When the potato and tomato pieces are fully cooked add cinnamon pieces , coriander powder, nutmeg powder , pepper powder and salt and mix well.
3. After 5 minutes when they mix well switch off the stove. While making sandwich remove the cinnamon pieces the flavor will be absorbed by the curry that is used as filling sandwich.
4. Trim brown edge crusts of the bread slices with knife. Cut the into triangular pieces.
(Apply melted butter on all the triangular pieces . This is for better taste and optional. )
5. For making 4 sandwich take 8 triangular pieces and in a plate take 4 triangular pieces and stuff them with the curry that we have made.
6. Cover it with the other triangular pieces and keep them in sandwich maker and switch on the maker and close the lid.
7. After it is cooked on one side gently flip it over to the other side.

8. Serve hot with ketchup or sauce.
