Ingredients:
Spinach 1 pound
Paneer 1/2 pound
Onions 3 big onions
Kasturi methi 4 teaspoons
Garlic and ginger paste 2 teaspoons
Cummin seeds 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Oil 2 tablespoons or 6 teaspoons
Salt as needed
Preparation:
1. Cook the spinach in water. Make fine puree of the spinach leaves.
2. Cut paneer into square cubes and heat a pan and put 4 teaspoons oil in it. Fry the panner pieces in it till they turn ito golden color.Keep them a seperate bowl.
3. Cut of the onions finely and heat a pan and add two spoons of oil and fry till they become transparent in color.
4. Grind the onion in a paste in the mixie.
5. In a pan add the remaining oil after oil is heated add jeera and add ginger garlic paste .Heat in a low flame till ginger and garlic seperate from the oil.
6. Add the onion puree and cook for 5 minutes now add palak puree and cook it for 10 minutes. Add little water if it is puree is very thick.
7. Add kasturi methi and cook for 5 minutes.Mix well. Add the fried paneer pieces to the gravy. Add garam masala powder,red chilli powder and salt. Mix well ensure that you mix gently or else paneer pieces will break. Cook for 2-3 minutes and switch off the stove.
8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
